Meeting called to order. Blessing for the 52nd. Manning Reunion performed by Kathleen Manning. Moment of Silence for our departed loved ones who have passed this year. Motion to accept minutes as presented by Mike Mayhew, Linda Savoca 2nd, so carried. Treasurer report presented, Motion to accept report by Mike Mayhew, Harland Manning Sr. seconded, so carried. 3 yr auditor position open, Sarah Rollins nominated and elected. Recreation Chairperson open, 2 yr term, Carla Manning nominated and elected.

New Business: Linda Savoca moved to Cabot Vermont and suggested a new location next year at the Cabot Recreation Field. Rental is $20.00 with Covered Shed with plenty of cover for 6 extra large picnic tables, 2 Rest rooms, not port a-potty. Basketball court. Volley ball court. Miniature golf. Ball field. Horseshoe pits. Swings. Slide. Babbling Brook for fishing or wading. Plenty of parking. Lots of sunshine (hopefully) and it's on a hill so there should be a nice breeze. Motion to try this new location, so carried. If you have any comments, additions/corrections to genealogy, contact Sonny (Wesley) Manning e-mail: smanning2@tampabay.rr.com all lower case/no spaces. Tell me your occupation, family tree, children, marriage changes, new spouses, deaths, accurate dates. Kathleen Manning had a question. Who is doing Deaths? Leona Vaughan? Ideas for next year: Sharon Woodworth suggested name tags. Cards to deceased family will be sent by Angela Manning on behalf of the Manning Association. 50-50 raffle, Randy Manning won. Harland will bring stuffed toys again for children to keep. Phil Manning made motion to adjourn the 52nd reunion, Sharon Woodworth seconded, so carried. 53rd Annual Reunion next year.

BYOB NEXT YEAR: CHAIRS, POT LUCK, SOFTBALL, GLOVES & BAT!!!!!

Thank You's to Tony Cannatelli for cooking, to Harland Manning Sr., and all who helped setup and clean up. We couldn't do it without you. The Manning Association is very appreciative of your efforts.

We really had a great turnout with so much good food and family fun. We hope you can all make it to the 2008 reunion in Cabot. The 2008 dues are $5.00 per family or $2.00 per individual. Please send them along to Kathleen McKnight, Treasurer. Hot Dogs and Hamburgers will be provided, please bring a hot or cold dish to share and beverage. A Noon dinner planned, followed by the Reunion Meeting. We will also have a 50-50 raffle whose proceeds go towards the recreation fund.

Family Condolences on the passing of the following Manning Family members: James R. Cleveland on 4-27-04; Pearline E. Learned on 12-1-2007; Philip (Joe) E. Manning on 12-14-2007; Richard A. "Dick" Cleveland on 1-08-2008; and Robert L. Mayhew on 3-17-2008. They will be missed.


Directions: Recreation Field – Cabot, Vermont

From I-89: Exit #8 at Montpelier, Rte. 302 to Rte. 2 East. At Marshfield, go left on Rte. 215, then 5 miles to Cabot Village. Continue through Village past monument and church, bearing left past bridge onto South Walden Road. Recreation field will be 2nd and 3rd parking Lots on left (near basketball court).

From I-91: Exit #21 at St. Johnsbury to Rte. 2 West. Turn right onto Rte 15 in West Danville. Continue 5.7 miles, turn Left at intersection of Rte 215. Continue approx. 3 miles to Village of Cabot. As you come down the hill into Cabot, turn right onto South Walden Road (just before bridge). Recreation field will be 2nd and 3rd parking Lots on left (near basketball court).

From Morrisville: Rte 15 through Hardwick. Travel approximately 4 miles, turning Right onto Cabot Road (will see sign for Cabot Creamery). Continue approximately 4.5 miles. Recreation field will be on your right next to basketball court.

Handicap Parking: Drive through open fence up to the Shelter area. All other vehicles should park at the two lower parking lots.
